Cops Arrest 2 More for Unlicensed Massage, Prostitution

Six West Hempstead spa workers have been arrested this month.

Another pair of women were arrested in West Hempstead Tuesday for practicing unlicensed massage therapy and offering to perform sex acts in exchange for money.

An undercover investigation by Nassau County Police's Narcotics/Vice Bureau determined that Yan Hua Deng, 48, and Sujuan Wu, 52, both of Flushing, allegedly practices massage therapy without a license while working at Shunyuan Spa Inc. located at 357 Hempstead Tpke., Suite 203. Yan Hua Deng also offered to engage in a sexual act for an undisclosed amount of money, according to detectives.

Both women were taken into custody on Jan. 15 at 4:30 p.m. without incident. They being charged with Unauthorized Practice. Deng is additionally charged with Prostitution.  They will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Earlier this month, cops arrested four female employees of the Royal Day Spa located at 300 Hempstead Tpke. in West Hempstead. Flushing residents  on Jan. 2 and charged with Unauthorized Practice and Prostitution. Then, last Wednesday, two more employees of the same spa -- Xia Mei Liu, 46, and Dong J Liu, 45, -- who are also both from Flushing, were arrested and charged with unauthorized practice. Dong Liu was also charged with prostitution after she allegedly offered to perform a sex act in exchange for money.
