- This week, Lynbrook’s West End Elementary School is participating in safety week. On Tuesday, first and second graders learned about fire safety and first aid from Lynbrook Fire Department and EMTs from North Shore LIJ-CEMS. The rest of the week includes a number of activities focusing on Halloween safety and traffic safety.
