"A Grimm Night", our second Halloween season production, celebrates the Brothers Grimm and their particular brand of gruesome folk tales.
You’ll hear a combination of old favorites and some of the more obscure tales - but all are beautifully written stories of murder, deception, decapitation, cannibalism, and other pleasantries that children in 19th century Germany apparently wanted to hear before bedtime.
This staged reading will take place in the house of the Malverne Historical Society (369 Ocean Ave., Malverne), a 19th century building, on Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th. Due to the limited space, there will be two performances each night - one at 8pm and one at 9:15pm. Tickets are $15 and are available now on our website (malvernetheatre.org).
