LFD Ex-Captain honored by Santino, Curran & Village
Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino, Assemblyman Brian Curran, Lynbrook Mayor William Hendrick and Deputy Mayor Alan Beach joined Lynbrook Fire Department's Emergency Medical Company #1 for their testimonial dinner honoring Ex-Captain Estelle Rivera.
Councilman Santino heralded Ex-Captain Rivera for her continued dedication and commitment to not only Lynbrook's working families and seniors, but to all neighbors in need.
"Our first responders, especially members of the Emergency Medical Company #1, put themselves on the line each and every day. It's a debt we can never repay, but we hope that our gratitude in some way conveys a message of thanks as well as recognition of how important our first responders are to our families and seniors," said Senior Councilman Santino.
