Rhythmology Alternative Dance & Arts Camp

Alternative Dance & Arts Camp - an afforadable 8 week day camp for creative and enthusiastic kids. The Creative Alternative is geared towards creating little performers out of your children. Our dance and arts camp provides kids the necessary tools to share their unique ideas and expressions.

Kids will practice various dance styles including Salsa, Bachata, Hip Hop and Ballet. They will also have supplemental physical wellness activities including stretching, yoga and meditation. Daily visual arts and crafts workshops allow campers to think by making things. Campers will never realize how much they are learning as they have fun with colors, shapes and new friends. All necessary building blocks as they work towards designing and making their set and costumes for a camper produced final performance. Weekly field trips, talent nights and themed days add to a camp culture of budding performers and creatives.

Rhythmology is a social latin dance company. We provide dance instruction, an online community and
performing arts services. Led by world-class dancer and choreographer, Alfred Peña, Rhythmology is pushing the reach of latin dance starting in Nassau and Suffolk counties. The group has toured both nationally and abroad and have produced festivals and fairs locally.

Camper are welcomed to wait for parents in our lounge until 6:00 pm. Board games, video games, movies and snacks will be readily available.
