SANTINO & CURRAN HONOR NEW GIRL SCOUT BRONZE & SILVER AWARD RECIPIENTS

Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino and Assemblyman Brian Curran joined members of the Girl Scout's ELLM Association, which represents the girls and adult volunteers of all Girl Scout troops in East Rockaway, Lakeview, Lynbrook and Malverne, for the organization's recent Bronze & Silver Awards ceremony. Bronze Award recipients are 4th and 5th graders who complete their junior journey while Silver Award winners are in grades 6-8 and complete a cadet journey. Proud parents, grandparents and relatives of these future leaders attended the event. The ceremony was for members of Junior Troop 2000 and Cadette Troop 2378 and held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lynbrook.
