Santino, Curran & McDonald Recognize New Malverne Eagle Scouts

Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino and Assemblyman Brian Curran joined Malverne Mayor Patty Ann McDonald and others to recognize new Boy Scouts of America Troop #24 Eagle Scouts at their Court of Honor held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Eagle Scouts achieve the highest rank in boy scouting. Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges and demonstrating Scout Spirit through the Boy Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Eagle Scouts plans, organizes, leads, and manages.
