Here are the top five headlines for Feb. 19.

  1. Lynbrook Crime Report: A popular local deli was burglarized and five Lynbrook residents were among those arrested by Lynbrook Police last week. Click here to read the latest crime report for the village.
  2. Field Use Policy: It was tabled multiple times and debated for several hours over the course of the past year, but the revised facilities use policy for the Malverne School District was finally adopted last week. Learn more about it later today.
  3. 1K Points: Although West Hempstead High School's boys basketball team fell to Valley Stream South in the Class A first round playoffs Friday, their captain achieve an impressive record during the game. We'll have the story this afternoon.
