Wake services for Angelina Maria Ayala will be held this weekend in Hempstead.
The first service will be held this Saturday, from 5-8 p.m. at the Hempstead Funeral Home on Peninsula Boulevard in Hempstead. There is also a service on Sunday, same hours.
Ayala's son, Ariel, said the surrounding community has been very supportive, both emotionally and financially, of his family. The Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence is even helping Ayala's family with the funeral costs.
