Historical Society Opens 6th Annual Retrospective at Library

The Lynbrook and East Rockaway Historical Society is now holding their 6th Annual Retrospective at the Lynbrook Public Library.

The exhibit features historic maps, photos, a scale model of East Rockaway's Grist Mill, a quern, and a life-size model of Lynbrook's Bristol & Mexico shipwreck monument.

Also featured are new historic East Rockaway post cards enlarged, showing: Bay Park, Amateur radio operators’ call signs, the Rail Road Station, and activities and businesses along Mill River.

The exhibit is open with free admission on Monday to Thursday evenings, from June 3 to 13, 7 a.m. 8:30 p.m.
