Honoring Lynbrook's Veterans

VFW Post 2307 gathers at village war memorial to mark Veterans Day.

The Lynbrook held its Veterans Day ceremony today at Veterans Park.

Members of the VFW were joined by their families, friends, and local elected officials, standing on the memorial ground dedicated to those Lynbrook soldiers who were killed in wars past.

"Don't underestimate the power of saying 'thank you' to a veteran," said VFW Post Commander Henry Speicher. "Veterans Day is not just a time to honor the heroes, but all the people who served."
