Malverne Egg Hunt Scheduled for Saturday

Malverne Merchants and Professionals Association to hold 18th annual event.

The Malverne Merchants and Professionals Association will hold its 18th annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, March 30.

The hunt will take place at the gazebo.

There will be two sessions, the first of which will be held at 10:30 a.m. for children ages 4 and under. The second session will be held at noon for children ages 5-10.

The event is open to all Malverne residents.

Speaking on behalf of the MMPA, local chiropractor Pennie Schwartz last year warned residents not to arrive late if you want your child to get some eggs. She explained that the hunts usually start on time and only last about five minutes.

"They are fast and furious when they go for the eggs … they go quick," she said.
