Get your free “Vial of Life” on April 20 from 10-2 p.m. at the Malverne Volunteer Ambulance Corps headquarters, located at 11 Hempstead Ave. in Malverne.
Life Scout Chris Aresta, from Malverne Boy Scout Troop 24, is working on his Eagle Project by running a “Vial of Life” Drive to help Malverne residents be prepared before a health emergency.
His sponsor, the Malverne Volunteer Ambulance Corps, will be co-hosting this event at their headquarters.
The "Vial of Life" is a program that allows individuals to have their complete medical information ready in their home for emergency personnel to reference during an emergency. This kit is used to provide the patient’s medical information when a patient is not able to speak or remember this information.
So come on down on April 20 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to make sure you are ready for a health emergency in your family.
