Shoppers Scoop Up Fall Fare at Church Fair

Several churchgoers and visitors filled the basement of the Community Presbyterian Church of Malverne on Nov. 7 to celebrate the annual Harvest and Craft Fair.

From 9am-3pm, vendors hawked festive fall decorations, fresh seasonal produce, delicious baked goods and raffle tickets. Up for grabs were a 50/50 pot and many baskets stuffed with tasty foods and enticing gifts.

Youngsters spent the day painting bird houses and playing with toys in the Little Blessings Christian Preschool, which recently moved into the church.
