A Look Back at My Big Friggin' Wedding

Patch reviews the last few episodes of VH1 show starring Lynbrook couple.

Because the Lynbrook couple normally appearing on the show were not featured in this week's episode, Patch decided to take a look back at the previous weeks.

A televison show about planning a big wedding sounds simple, doesn't it?

It couldn't be far from the truth if you've been following Lynbrook's Sandra Venturi and Joey Cimino on VH1's My Big Friggin' Wedding. Anything friggin' goes with this couple — yelling, smacking, burnt food, tanning, ostrich feathers and facial twitching.

We were as they tanned to friggin' perfection and argued about picking the right color for Cimino's tuxedo vest. She wanted white, he wanted black. Let the friggin' bickering begin.

In , Venturi showed viewers that burnt steaks is not the most ideal way to feed your husband-to-be, especially if you don't want him to scream in your friggin' face. According to Venturi, if she can't cook healthy, then having your food cooked at the right temperature and tasting good be damned.

When Venturi quit her job because she felt underpaid, Cimino reacted like any man with a huge wedding bill staring him in the face — non-stop facial twitching.

As the wedding planning continued, filmed Venturi and Cimino choosing ostrich feathers as floral arrangements for their wedding. For this couple, it sounded friggin' fabulous. When ostrich feathers remind you of old black-and-white movies, you simply have to put them in your friggin' wedding.

In , with Venturi now working for Cimino at his business, Avista Hardwood Flooring, the yelling reaches an all-time high. He can't read her handwriting and she suggests he take anger management.

Once again showing viewers her top-notch culinary skills, Venturi prepared chicken rollantini for Cimino in . After watching Venturi pour about five teaspoons of garlic into the recipe, Cimino decided to order pizza. When you measure by eye as Venturi does, cooking mistakes will friggin' happen.

A sneak peek at next week's episode includes Venturi's brother and Cimino fighting in a parking lot. Isn't it wonderful when families get along so well and a television camera crew gets to capture it all on film? It doesn't get friggin' better than that. Tune into VH1's My Big Friggin' Wedding on Mondays at 9 p.m.
