Stitches from the Heart

Yarn and fabric crafters are invited to take part in Stitches from the Heart. Spend a pleasant evening knitting, crocheting, or quilting hats, lap robes, blankets, and other items for newborns, children in need, and veterans in our VA hospitals. In just its first five years, this non-profit organization donated more than 418,000 handmade items to over 600 hospitals, charities, and community centers nationwide. If you can’t knit, crochet or quilt, donations of yarn and fabric will be accepted. Knitters, crochet crafters, and quilters of all skill levels welcome. Bring a project with you or embark on something new. Patterns will be provided. Students, take note! Earn Community Service Credits!
