Summer Days at Nassau County Museum of Art

  • Free Summer Arts Program for Kids at Nassau County Museum of Art's Art Space for Children

Throughout the summer, families and children will enjoy exciting and creative afternoons at the museum. Summer Days at Nassau County Museum of Art is a new drop-in program that includes interactive tours of the exhibition of sculpture and photography by Robert Hite and supervised hands-on artmaking inspired by the exhibition. The program is designed for children ages 4-10. Summer Days at Nassau County Museum of Art is offered Tuesday-Saturday, 12-4 p.m. through August 25 and is free with museum admission. No reservations are needed.

Summer Days at Nassau County Museum of Art is held at the Art Space for Children, the second low white building along the left of the roadway as you enter. Admission for the Art Space only is $5 for adults, $4 for children ages 4-12, students or seniors 62+; combined Main Building/Art Space admission is $10 adults, $8 seniors, $4 children and students; members are always free. Weekends only there is a $2 parking fee (members, free).
