Labor Day Weekend in Lynbrook

Residents take advantage of beautiful weather for the unofficial end of summer.

Lynbrook residents were out enjoying themselves in the beautiful weather seen over Labor Day weekend.

Many residents could be seen at Greis Park, lounging on the fields, cooling off in the village pool, and playing with their children on the playgrounds.

Clear skies and temperatures in the 80s replaced concerns of Hurricane Earl, which threatened to bring heavy rain to the area before shifting east of Long Island on Friday.
