Lynbrook Native, a Cappella Group Make the Cut on 'The Sing-Off'

Andrea O'Neill and the Deltones survive the first cut in NBC's hit show.

Lynbrook native and her a cappella group, the University of Delaware Deltones, have made the cut in the first round of NBC's hit show "The Sing-Off."

The Deltones performed their own version of Randy Newman's "Feels Like Home" and were selected over Soul'd Out from Wilsonville, Oregon, to stay on the show.

Ben Folds, one of the show's judges, said the Deltones' performance was "moving," to say the least.

"[It was] just moving and that’s the main thing," he said. "You guys rocked it.”

The winning group of the competition will receive $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music.
