Malverne Community Theatre's ‘Night of Improv’ Gets Big Laughs

The Malverne Community Theatre’s most recent show played out like an episode of “Whose Line is it Anyway,” with performers making up their lines on the spot.

It wasn't the easiest show to perform, but judging by the turnout and the reaction of the audience, the show was a smashing success.

“The performers were all fabulous, they all had to be on point because of the improv aspect,” said David Coonan President of the Malverne Community Theatre. “The audience really liked it.”

The performance drew a turnout of about 60 to 70 people, Coonan said. All the money brought in from the productions goes towards future shows.

The theatre will be announcing their next show in the next week. They will also be performing at the annual lighting of Malverne in December, Coonan said.
