The Lynbrook School District welcomed new members to its instructional staff with a comprehensive two-day orientation program to inform them about policies and procedures, introduce them to the district’s latest curriculum and technology, and acquaint them with their new school community.
Administrators reviewed professional development opportunities and introduced tools to utilize assessments to improve classroom instruction. Teachers also received training to integrate technology into their classroom instruction and to make effective use of student support services. A bus tour of the surrounding Lynbrook community rounded out the presentation.
