Snow on the Forecast For Lynbrook This Weekend

Expect a couple of inches of snow this weekend.

Long Island has been able to make it through the winter without much snow to speak of. That could change this weekend.

The National Weather Forecast says to expect snow to start tonight and continue into Saturday, with 1-2 inches possible.

The snow will start Friday night mainly after 4 a.m. Chance of precipatation is 90 percent, according to the forecast.

On Saturday, Lynbrook residents can expect a mix of rain and snow, mainly before 1 p.m. Chance of precipitation is 90%, and new snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible, the forecast says.

Things are expected to clear up after 1 p.m. On Sunday, the forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 39.
