Bites Nearby: McQuade’s Neighborhood Grill

Check out a new local restaurant each week on Lynbrook Patch.

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Lynbrook Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out.

: A fun atmosphere, good drinks, solid food and plenty of friends makes this local watering hole a Lynbrook go-to.

Take advantage of McQuade’s Sunday football special, which features $3 domestic beers, $4 imported beers and half priced appetizers at the bar. If you are in the mood for something a little different, try the Sunday brunch, which lasts from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for an array of delightful breakfast options and included drinks.

The menu offers up an expansive amount of traditional American options with a tasteful twist. Check out Mo’s nachos or delicious spinach dip to start off with, or try the lobster bisque and homemade chili – non will disappoint!

Main course options range from the juicy sirloin burger, shepherd's pie and plum crazy shrimp to “McQuade’s Famous” tid bits and crusted lamb chops. They also have many other burgers, sandwiches and wraps, as well as a kid’s menu for the little ones.

Overall an excellent spot to grab a bite to eat with a few friends or a group. The large menu will delight all types of taste buds without breaking the bank.
