Cars, Cats and Candy Apples Complete Fall Festival in Malverne

Malverne residents and visitors find family-friendly fun at the fall street fair.

Local families, businesses and civic organizations took advantage of a perfect autumn afternoon on Oct. 24 to attend the Fall Festival and Classic Car Show in Malverne.

The parking lot near the train tracks, which stretches from Associated supermarket to Connolly Station was packed with vintage cars, local vendors, food stands and amusement rides for the kids. The festival also extended to the old Grossmann's farm, which offered farming demonstrations, hay rides and a petting zoo, and the gazebo, where the civic association held a bake-off.

From pony rides, face-painting and jumpy castles to vintage cars, crafts and health check-ups, there was something for everyone. Check out the photos from the event!
