More than 200 vendors will flood The Boardwalk Saturday and Sunday for the Long Beach Arts & Crafts Festival. Each booth will offer special homemade crafts, jewelry, painting, photography, home goods, and more. Festivalgoers can also sample foods from around the world from vendors.
Mazda representatives will also appear from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. offering test drives along Long Beach Boulevard and Broadway in their redesigned Mazda3.
The festival will be held, weather permitting, on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A fireworks extravaganza will kick-off the weekend on Friday night.
Beginning at 8 p.m. with a beach concert featuring musical guest The StoryTellers, the fireworks display by Bay Fireworks will begin at around 9 p.m. from a barge in the ocean and will be visible throughout the city.
There will also be several food vendors present serving international fare on the boardwalk.
Large crowds are expected so plan your trip accordingly. The show will be visible from anywhere along the beach and free shuttle buses will run to and from both the East and West Ends to Riverside Blvd between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.
