Gas Prices on the Rise - Gulf Has Cheapest in Lynbrook
A look at gas prices around town.
If you've filled up your car recently, you may have noticed that gas prices have begun to climb. Although the national average sits around $3.36 for a regular gallon, prices in Lynbrook are back above $3.50.
The prices listed here are taken from Motor Trend's website, which bases its information on credit card transactions. Some stations offer cheaper prices for cash-only purchases, and prices are subject to change.
Regular: The Gulf station at 4 Ocean Ave. has the cheapest gas in Lynbrook for $3.599 a gallon. The Gulf at 500 Atlantic in East Rockaway and the Hess at 550 Atlantic in Oceanside also has regular for that price.
