Have You Tried Lumix Hibachi in Lynbrook Yet?

Hibachi restaurants are quickly gaining in popularity across Long Island, with Lynbrook the latest recipient of a new restaurant. 

Lumix Hibachi & Sushi arrived in Lynbrook's Philips Plaza shopping center earlier this year, taking over a location formerly known as Green Olive Bistro and years earlier, Pizzeria Uno. The restaurant, located at 693 Sunrise Hwy., celebrated its grand opening on April 30.

Lumix offers an assortment of sushi rolls, hand rolls and special rolls, such as sunrise roll ($12), tiger roll ($13) and New York roll ($6.50). Sushi entrees include the spicy maki combo ($16), sushi & sashimi combo ($24) and chirashi dinner ($19). 

Hibachi entrees include a combination dinner of angus steak and chicken ($21), shrimp and scallop ($20) and steak and salmon ($22). Entrees include clear soup, green salad, hibachi shrimp appetizer, vegetable and streamed rice, with $3 extra for hibachi vegetable fried rice or noodles. 

Lunch specials are served on Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. This deals include the lunch roll special: any two rolls for $9 or three rolls for $12. Another deal is the special lunch box: chicken, shrimp or salmon teriyaki with California roll, shumai, two pieces of gyoza and white rice for just $12. 

Lumix Hibachi and Sushi is open Monday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m to 10 p.m., Friday, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Besides dine-in, the restaurant does take-out, delivery, catering and parties are available.
