National Wholesale Liquidators to Host 2-Day Health Fair

National Wholesale Liquidators, located at 111 Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead, announces a two day health and fitness fair to be held on January 25 and 26, 10:30 a.m. to  2 p.m. on the second floor of its flagship store. 

 “AT NWL, we care about the community we do business in and we wanted to bring more awareness of the various programs available to help our customers and their families so that they can stay on track with their health resolutions,” said Scott Rosen, CEO.  “There are so many local resources that our customers can turn to and we are bringing them all under one roof at a health fair we are hosting."

National Wholesale is also pleased to announce that it has partnered with UnitedHealthcare Community & State to bring a wide range of programs and services that help people live healthier lives and WellCare which is the community arm of Medicare.

Through these partnerships they will provide nutrition information, blood pressure screenings, diabetes screenings, and body fat and BMI analysis.  The information will also be available in English and Spanish.

The company has also invited local health providers such a physician, physical therapist, chiropractor, and local gym studios that provide Zumba to the event, running continuous classes throughout the event.

 “The goal is simple, introduce the community to a fun way of exercising and give them the tools to promote healthy eating at home,” said Vita Zorbo, Public Relations Manager.  “Having owned a gym for ten years, I had to find a way to introduce fitness to our customers."
