New York American Water Responds to Residents Receiving Confusing Pamphlets

Several residents in Nassau County have reported receiving confusing pamphlets offering water testing, but New York American Water (NYAW) says that they did not send out the materials.

“We want to assure our customers that New York American Water did not distribute these materials,” said Brian Bruce, vice president of operations, in a press release.

“We work around the clock to monitor and treat our water supply in an effort to provide our customers with clean and safe drinking water that doesn’t need home testing," Bruce said.
