No. 77 — Take a Walk Around Shake A Paw

One of 100 things to do in the village.

No. 77 in the Patch series, “,” is to walk around .

Lynbrook residents love to browse inside the Shake-A-Paw and look at all the animals. Located across the street from the Lynbrook movie theatre and close to many of our excellent places to eat, there isn’t a time that you can walk past this place and not see people inside.

Summer time for many families is a great time to give an animal a home. It is definitely a lot easier to train a dog in the warmer months than having to take them out in the snow.  The children are home from school, so it is a good time to have them help and learn about the care of your new animal.

All of their animals are vaccinated, wormed and examined to ensure they are healthy and up-to-date. They also offer a lifetime health guarantee for their puppies.

Shake A Paw's experienced staff can help you choose the right pup for you and are available seven days a week to help answer any questions. Staff members include experts in training, grooming and puppy health care.

All puppies also come with a micro-chip so you will have a better chance of finding your pet should they ever get lost.

Shake-A-Paw carries all the items that you will need to get you started, including cages, food, collars, toys, beds, car seats — they have it all.

Next time you have time to spare before seeing that movie or after having a bite to eat in the village, why not walk around Shake-A-Paw, pick up some supplies for your pet and look at the animals that need a good home. Who knows? You may find that special one that you just have to take with you.
