No. 80 — Check Out Vincent's Pizzeria

One of 100 things to do in the village.

No. 80 in the Patch series, “,” is to check out .

Vincent Carusone is the owner and his son, Joe, runs this family owned and operated Lynbrook restaurant. Vincent’s Pizzeria and Restaurant has been a part of our Lynbrook village since 1962, when it used to be across the street (now Carvel).

The business moved to its present location back in 1978. Every school day you can see a flock of students making their way through the village to get to Vincent’s for their lunch. It is well worth the longer walk for them.

I have been going to this restaurant since its arrival at the present location. I used to work above them and ate at Vincent’s just about every day during the week. I have eaten almost everything on its menu, I love their pizza always fresh, and some of my favorites are their calzones and the Fettucine Alfredo is out of this world!

Amanda, a worker at Vincent's, told me “it’s a really great place to work, a great family restaurant" and that her bosses are great! She also told me that many of the workers have been there for a very long time.

Vincent's Restaurant offers a very wide variety of Italian specialties, including a wide array of pizzas, appetizers, heroes, calzones and entrees such as shrimp and chicken parmigiana, chicken francese, veal marsala, fettucine alfredo and more.

They have a very large menu with choices sure to satisfy even your most finicky eater.

Our village has much to offer, so if you are looking for a great meal, before that movie you will be seeing, looking for lunch as you are strolling around town, or a dinner out/in with the family.

Vincent’s is conveniently located on Atlantic Avenue, so stop in on your way to or from your destinations and taste what all the talk is about!
