PHOTOS: Courtesy Hotel Finally Gone

Photos chronicle the demolition of hotel from start to finish.

Section by section the slowly faded from the West Hempstead community over the past few weeks and now residents can finally say the seedy establishment is gone.

All that remains of the crime-infested hotel that residents had campaigned for over a decade to close is a pile of rubble where it once stood.

Photographer Lou Minutoli chronicled the gradual demise of the Courtesy from the first day demolition crews arrived at the site to final moment the last standing portion of the building fell.
