PHOTOS: Demolition Starts at Woodland Nursery

Driving past the old Woodland Nursery in Malverne the 1850's home that stands at 131 Franklin Avenue may appear to be intact, but in fact, only half of the building remained after a demolition crew finished working Monday.

They completely obliterated one of three structures that stood at the property Monday morning, the one located in the back, and had planned to take down the three-story home too, but while they were mid-way through the job their demolition vehicle broke down.
