You've probably passed by this West Hempstead establishment several times while driving along Hempstead Avenue.
From the outside, China Connection looks just like a house if you overlook the business sign posted on the lawn, but venture inside and you'll discover many beautiful treasures, including a nugget of local history, in this gift shop.
