View Finder: Pizza and Family - That's Amore!

Photos from the Grand Opening of Nino's in West Hempstead.

"It can be a pain in the neck...but I love it," says Carlo Coco, of the pizzeria business.

Coco has been opening pizza joints in New York since 1984, soon after his tailor shop closed down. Over the years, the business has become a family affair and this month, Coco, his daughter, Marisa Giudice, her husband, Vincent, and their two children brought their passion for great Italian cooking to West Hempstead.

celebrated its Grand Opening on Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting, free buffet and special deals throughout the day.

This is the fifth pizza place that Coco has had a hand in, but it too has a special place in his heart. (Check back Monday morning to find out why when Patch's video report on the grand opening goes live.)
