West Hempstead Chamber Welcomes Back NWL [PHOTOS]

Local merchants and officials hold ribbon-cutting Saturday at National Wholesale Liquidators.

re-opened its flagship store in West Hempstead in but on Saturday local politicans and fellow merchants officially welcomed them back to the neighborhood.

The West Hempstead Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the store on Jan. 4. Carl Rosen, one of the owner's of the family-run business, did the honors. He was joined by his store manager Mike Alvarado, Nassau County Legis. Vincent Muscarella, New York Assemblyman Ed Ra, Hempstead Town Councilman Ed Ambrosino, Town Clerk Mark Bonilla and members of the Chamber's executive board.
