  1. H.S. Principal: During Tuesday night's nearly four-hour meeting of the West Hempstead Board of Education, several important issues were discussed. Among them was the selection of a new principal to fill the vacancy at West Hempstead High School. Learn more later this morning.
  2. Wizard of Oz: Follow the yellow brick road to Gaddis Park in Westwood tonight for a live performance of The Wizard of Oz, co-sponsored by the Malverne Merchants and Professionals Association. The show starts at 7 p.m.
  3. Demolition Continues: Workers continued to wipe out the buildings at the old Woodland Nursery site in Malverne Tuesday afternoon. Check out the video report today.
