  1. Nursery Demolition: A crew began demolishing the old buildings at the Woodland Nursery property in Malverne Monday. See the photos this morning and check back later for a video report to learn more about the progress at the site.

School Board Meeting: The West Hempstead Board of Education will hold a special meeting tonight at 7 p.m, most likely closed to the public, followed by a regular business meeting, starting around 7:45 p.m. that would be open. A decision may be announced regarding the vacant high school principal position. Check back this afternoon for the board's agenda.
  3. Journey to the Farm: Pass over the Malverne-West Hempstead border and you'll come to a crossroads - the that is.
