Aug. 5: Crimes Nearby, A Look Back at Lynbrook Centennial Events

The following are five things you need to know today in Lynbrook and/or on Patch:

1 — The Lynbrook area will see sunny skies and a high temperature near 84 degrees. Cooler weather is on hand for the evening hours, with a  low of 69 degrees expected.

2 — This Sunday at 11 a.m., the Village of Lynbrook will host its final centennial event — a community picnic — at . Patch will have a preview of the event and take a look back at centennial events held over the past year.
