Crime Report: Two Arrested for Alleged Thefts at Lynbrook Drug Store

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • On May 21 at 8:35 p.m., Katesha Booker, 33, of Lynbrook, N.Y., was arrested and charged with Assault in the third degree, which occurred at a Union Avenue residence in Lynbrook.
  • On May 21 at 11:50 p.m., Nicholas Thompson, 25, of Far Rockaway, N.Y., was arrested on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
  • On May 22 at 8:45 p.m., Luis Zelaya, 19, of Far Rockaway, N.Y., was arrested on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a motor vehicle.
  • On May 24 at 2:27 p.m., Cynthia Tomas, 45, and Isabel Rozier, 48, both of Hempstead, N.Y., were arrested and charged with three counts of Larceny and one count of Possession of Stolen Property. The alleged thefts occurred at Rite Aid on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook, police said. Upon further investigation, the subjects were also charged with larcenies that had occurred in Rockville Centre and Freeport.
  • On May 24 at 9:05 p.m., Gerrard Corrigan, 55, of Lynbrook, N.Y., was arrested and charged with Assault in the third degree, which occurred at a Spencer Avenue residence in Lynbrook.
  • On May 28 at 5:50 p.m., Mark Makridakis, 42, of Valley Stream, N.Y., was arrested on Horton Avenue in Lynbrook and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
  • On May 29 at 5:54 a.m., Aaron Curtis of Milford, Conn., was arrested on Freer Street in Lynbrook and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and driving without a license.
  • On May 30 at 3:10 p.m., Gilberto Grados, 40, of Lynbrook, N.Y., was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a motor vehicle and False Personation, which occurred on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.

  • Between the hours of 8 p.m. on May 19 and 9:30 a.m. on May 20, the rear window of a 2007 Chrysler minivan parked at a 2nd Street residence in Lynbrook was broken, causing $250 in damage.
