Dec. 2: PTA Volleyball Game, Weekend Events

• Lynbrook's Temple Am Echad is holding tonight at 7:15 p.m. Check out the for more info!

• The Lynbrook PTA is holding a tonight at 7:30 p.m. Snacks and refreshments will be sold by the PTA. $4 for adults, $3 for children.

• There is a lot going on this weekend. Our Lady Mercy of Lynbrook is holding the third annual from 9 - 10:30 a.m. and 11a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Contact Julie O'Connell at juliejim@optonline.net or 516-599-0686 for more info. No tickets at the door. Stay with us for photos and the story!

• The on Atlantic Ave. is Sunday at 4 p.m. The tree lighting is at 4:15 p.m. Girl scouts will collecting clothing for the needy, Support Our Troops will be collecting supplies for the troops, and Toys for Tots will be collecting unwrapped toys. Check back Monday for video from the event.

• You can also get your picture taken with at Dee's Nursery in Oceanside from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
