  1. Village Board: The Malverne village board will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Village Hall. The meeting will be televised on Malverne T.V. and Patch will fill you in on what happens Thursday.
  2. Fire Commish Elections: Both the West Hempstead and Lakeview fire districts will hold elections on Dec. 13 each for an open seat on their boards of commissioners. Learn more later today.
  3. School Closings: The Diocese of Rockville Centre announced Tuesday that they would be shuttering six Catholic schools on Long Island. Today, Patch gets reaction from local parents in Malverne and West Hempstead.
  4. Holiday Concert: The fifth and sixth grade choir of Howard T. Herber Middle School in Malverne will be holding their holiday concert tonight at 7 p.m. The choir is under the direction of Ms. Deanna Vitola. Come out and hear these wonderful young singers.
