UPDATE: Dog Found in West Hempstead

Do you know who this dog belongs to?

Update: 2:33 p.m. on March 11

Two readers contacted Patch about the missing dog and we were able to connect the couple that found her with the dog's owner.

Original story

A Patch reader and her husband found this dog on Eagle Avenue near the corner of Taft Street around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night.

She looks like a Jack Russel Terrier Mix, and she doesn't have a collar.

"We'd just like to find her family, since she seems like such a sweet dog," the reader wrote to Patch.

If you have information about this dog, please contact patch at jaime@patch.com and we will connect you with the reader.
