Feb. 10: Lynbrook Open Houses, Weekend Guide

Five things of interest in Lynbrook and/or on Patch for Thursday.

Here are five things you need to know in Lynbrook and/or on Lynbrook Patch today:

1 — The Lynbrook Public Library is holding two story time sessions for children today. One, for children ages three and a half to five years old, will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. in the Children's Story Hour Room. The other, for ages 4-7, will be held from 7-7:45 p.m., also in the Children's Story Room. Registration is required for both sessions.

2 — More library news. Tuesday's library board was postponed to today at 7:30 p.m. Come see what officials are discussing for the future of the library.

3 — With the weekend just two days away, Lynbrook Patch will be posting its weekly "Get Out" article, a compilation of events from in and around Lynbrook that are taking place on Saturday and Sunday. As always, feel free to post your own events on Lynbrook Patch, or leave the information in the comments section of the weekly "Get Out" article.

4 — In case you missed it yesterday, be sure to check out the new Patch feature, "" an interactive feature in which Lynbrook mothers help lead a discussion in response to a weekly question about parenting, schools, and other child-related concerns.

5 — Patch will be posting a list of homes holding open houses this weekend. Be sure to check back on the site later today to see this informative article.
