1 — Woke up early to shovel the mess of snow and ice in your driveway this morning? If you've got some extra time, head over to the , where the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce holds its weekly networking meetings at 7:30 a.m. Both residents and business owners are welcome to come learn more about the Chamber during this free meeting.

2 — Malverne Mel, our area's favorite meteorologist, will be forced to make his weather forecast from inside this morning, due to the inclement weather. The ceremony was to take place at Reese Park in Malverne before the change. The public is welcome to attend, but the Malverne Historical Society's post-party has been canceled. 

3 — Has brown-colored water been coming out of your home's pipes? Malverne-West Hempstead editor Tara Conry checked in with Lynbrook-based Long Island American Water to find out the reason. Visit the site later today for that story.
