Feb. 25: Heavy Rain and the Lynbrook Crime Report

Five things of interest in the village and/or on Patch today.

The following are five things of interest happening in Lynbrook and/or on Lynbrook Patch today:

1 — Better break out the raincoat and umbrella this morning, as heavy rain, winds, and possible thunderstorms will move into the Lynbrook area after 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The area could see wind gusts up to 55 mph.

2 — The Lynbrook Police Department's weekly crime report will be posted on Patch later today. See what incidents have happened over the past week in the village.

3 — In a feature we call the "Grab and Go Kids Planner," Patch will highlight local events for children happening this weekend. Keep an eye out for this article later today.

4 — Every Friday from 7-9:30 p.m., in Lynbrook will hold a Tween/Teen Skate for ages 10-14 only. Adults are only allowed into the building as chaperones. For more information, call (516) 593-1300.
