Well, it's finally coming, according to the National Weather Service, which is predicting that Malverne and West Hempstead could get as much as five inches Saturday.

The snow is expected to begin after 4 a.m. tonight, when there is a 90 percent chance of precipitation. Accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the morning. Then, it could mix with rain after 1 p.m. and gradually end, but before it's over another 1 to 3 inches of new snow could accumulate.
