Guitarist Performance
Where/When: Sunday, March 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library in Hewlett.
Why Go: Classical guitarist Bret Williams will play his second show in three years at the library as part of his tour for his new album, "Bret Williams: Solo Guitar."

St. Patrick's Day Party
Where/When: Saturday, March 19 from 7-11 p.m. at the American Legion Cathedral Post 1087 in West Hempstead.
Why Go: Come celebrate St. Patrick's Day alongside members of the American Legion. A professional DJ, food and beverages, and dancing are all part of the celebration.
Pricing: $20 donation per person.

Sergei Gurbelo in Concert
Where/When: Sunday, March 20 at 2 p.m. at the Long Beach Public Library.
Why Go: Sergei Gurbelo, a multi-woodwind specialist, will be playing jazz, blues, pop, Brazilian and classical music. The program is made possible by funding from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization.
Pricing: Free

St. Patrick's Day Parade
Where/When: Saturday, March 20 at 12 p.m. along Maple Avenue in Rockville Centre.
Why Go: If you didn't get to celebrate St. Patrick's Day during the week, you can join the hundreds who fill Rockville Centre this Saturday. This is the largest St. Patrick's Day parade on Long Island.
Pricing: Free

Concert for St. Patrick's Day
Where/When: Saturday, March 19 from 2-3:15 p.m. at the Lynbrook Public Library.
Why Go: After you've watched the parade in neighboring Rockville Centre, head over to the Lynbrook library, where Naomi and Joel will play Irish favorites including "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" and "Danny Boy" using clarinet, harmonica, pipes, flute, fiddle, and voice.
