ACDS Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration
Where/When: Saturday, March 12 from 6-10 p.m. at St. Agnes Parish Center in Rockville Centre.
Why Go: Join the Association for Children with Down Syndrome (ACDS) for an evening of food and cocktails provided by Kasey's, music by Martin Flynn, and raffles. All proceeds benefit the ACDS, which serves people with down syndrome, autism, and other developmental disabilities.
Pricing: Tickets are $50 per person (must be 21 or older).

Blood Drive
Where/When: Saturday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rockville Centre Parks and Recreation Department.
Why Go: Sponsored by the Rockville Centre Lions Club, you can help those in need and receive a voucher for a free pint of soup at Jordan's Lobster Farm in Island Park.

Seussical the Musical
Where/When: Saturday, March 12 at 8 p.m. at Howard T. Herber Middle School in Malverne.
Why Go: Bring the kids and take yourself back in time as Malverne High School puts on a production of Seussical the Musical. A great time for the whole family.
Pricing: Free

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day
Where/When: Sunday, March 13 from 2-4 p.m. at the West Hempstead Public Library.
Why Go: Come see musician Jimmy Moore for a entertaining afternoon in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.
Pricing: Free

Bye Bye Birdie
Where/When: Saturday, March 12 from 7:30-10 p.m. at Lawrence Middle School.
Why Go: It may not be Manhattan's Broadway, but Lawrence Middle School, located on Broadway in Lawrence, promises a fun evening during the Drama Club's performance of Bye Bye Birdie. This play parodies the craze surrounding Elvis.
Pricing: Tickets are $6 each (available at the door).

Centennial Dinner Dance
Where/When: Saturday, March 12 at 7 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Lynbrook.
Why Go: Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Lynbrook's incorporation at this Saturday night dance. Food, drink and entertainment.
Pricing: Tickets are $100 each.
