FRANKLIN SQUARE FAIR
What: Street Fair
Where: Franklin Ave. from Hempstead Trpk. to Scherer Blvd. in Franklin Square
When: Sunday, June 12, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Why go: The 10th Anniversary Street Fair in Franklin Square hosted by the Kiwanis Club. There will be over 100 vendors, rides, games and food. Also this year, they will have a full bowling lane, provided by Rockville Centre Bowling Center.

ARTS FESTIVAL
What: Fine Arts Show
Where: Kennedy Plaza in Long Beach, www. longbeachny.org
When: Saturday, June 11, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday June 12, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Why go: This art show is in its 17th year, and will feature the work of 50 new and returning artists. Paintings, sculpture, drawings and mixed media will all be part of the show. Artists will receive awards in each category, and one lucky artist will walk away with the title of "Best in Show." The event will also feature food, drinks and entertainment.
CELEBRATE THE STAKES
What: Belmont Stakes Street Fair
Where: Tulip Ave. in Floral Park and Seventh St. in Garden City
When: Friday, June 10 at 5 p.m. in Floral Park and 6 p.m. in Garden City
Why go: The streets shut down and the people come out to celebrate the pomp and circumstance of the Belmont Stakes. There will be music, food and festivities centered on the 143rd running of this race.
DYI DAD GIFT
What: Crafts for Dad
Where: Michaels Craft Store, 3610 Long Beach Rd. Oceanside
When: Saturday, June 11, 10 a.m. – noon
Why go: An opportunity to make a handmade and unique photo frame, perfect for Father’s Day. Everything you need to make a one-of-a-kind gift will be at your disposal.

A COMPLETE CARNIVAL
What: Family Festival
Where: St. Anthony’s Church, 110 Anchor Ave. Oceanside
When: Friday, June 10, 6 p.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 4 p.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday, June 12, 2 p.m. –10 p.m.
Why go: Everything for a fun-filled day or night is here in one place. Games, rides, food and entertainment all await you at this festival.
MINI DISNEY 'TRIP'
What: Walt Disney Experience
Where: Roosevelt Field Mall, Old Country Rd & Meadowbrook State Pkwy, Garden City
When: Friday, June 10, Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12, noon- 8 p.m.
Why go: Time to Make Memories! Participate in an interactive Disney photo experience. Consumers will have the opportunity to take virtual in-park photos and share them with others. Local Disney fans can also keep an eye out for the “Let the Memories Begin” team as they spread some “pixie dust” in the largest mall in NY!
